OK, now what??....

So I had taken up the domain name HarajukuPearl.com. And if you go to www.harajukupearl.com, it shows "love is under construction". Its been under construction for weeks!! I just have not gotten the time to sit down and deal with it. The love is about procrastinating....urrgghhhh!

Ok here's the thing. It really needs discipline..REAL DISCIPLINE. Not just the kind where you get hyper about an idea and then "i do it tomorrow" syndrome hits you. This is happening to me. i got a mentor to teach me in setting up the domain and how about to get it on your screen. Let me tell you. i am such an idiot when it comes to all this mambo jambo of IT language. They say if you can do Facebook you can set up your website easily. Errr not!!! i need a step by step, visuals provided and someone to tell me click here, click there, insert this link there, press that button there. i totally have NO patience in this. i guess that's why you pay thousands to a web designer. It's hard work ok.....

There, enough ranting. There are so many things that i need to work on for the Website. For one, I've started the One Day A Picture project. But i have not gotten it to go public yet. It is now being published in my personal Facebook account for friends to view. Well, the pictures are public but i think if you google my name, you won't get my Facebook account yet. i have been contemplating about doing a Facebook page on this. Ouh man..another account to look after. i am so amazed to those who run business in the internet, upload both their personal account AND pages AND blogs AND twitter....and do i have to go into instagram.....How do one find the time to upload all this? 

Thus i need to do the following :

1. Draft out the concept of what harajukupearl.com needs to look like.

2. Set a time and date with Sensei (he's the one who has been guiding me setting up the website) to work out the technicals.

3. Dig out all the digital photographs for the image stock idea (this will definitely take time to select which image is good enough to be sold)

4. Start the Facebook Page for Harajuku Pearl and upload the backlog of O.P.A.D

On top of all these, i still got 2 photobooks pending for editing!!!!!

But now, i need to go to IKEA to get a stool for Mama Queen aka The Mother. She's staying over tonight and need the stool to bathe in the shower as she has weak knees....OK, this one i can be discipline and do it right away.........

the end is the beginning....

TIME.....That is one thing i learn that each and everyone of us will need to take, in being your true self. i, for one was very occupied with everything else around me that i forgot to take time to do the things i truly enjoy for myself. Perhaps it was the feeling of fear that hold me back from pursuing or maybe the lost of the source of motivation that used to spark the passion inside my heart. Whatever it is, i had taken the time to pass by and now TIME is pressing me to move forward.

The idea to start blogging again has been lingering in my mind for quite some time but i kept brushing the idea away. Instead, i started to rekindle with my other passion - photography. That was easier. And i had really great souls (you know who you are) who tirelessly inspire me to pick up the camera again. It didn't wait long enough that soon i was holding my very own Canon EOS DSLR again.

Next, to get myself back into this crazy momentum of blogging and sharing my thoughts and writing through my pictures. This took longer than expected. Very very loooooonnnngggg time indeed.......But you know what, when the time is right, when your calling comes, when your purpose is due...somehow or rather, you'll do it! 

So here goes...i'm doing this not just for myself but something that i can share and leave behind. i hope you'll enjoy being here and hopefully be inspired reading my ramblings and or simply just browsing the pictures captured on how i LIVE, LAUGH and LOVE through the "lens of Harajuku Pearl.
